Eat this not that - Sushi
I went out for sushi last night. A seemingly healthy meal. But then I realised all my favorite rolls have tempura in them. And that almost doubles the points per piece. I still had them, just a lot less then my old self would. Steps in the right direction.

Anyways…. here are some rolls that are healthier and relatively lower in sodium.
- veggie roll
- tuna (maguro) roll
- avocado roll
- cucumber roll
- salmon and avocado roll
- yellowtail nigiri
- shrimp nigiri
Avoid rolls that are deep fried and have tempura. Ask for low sodium soy sauce, and eat tons of edamame beans. Also watch out for miso soups. They are low in calories, but high is salts.
